How to interact with the Rails Network?

You either have TW on Android, or iOS. Fortunately Android version supports custom RPC so we begin our tutorial for Android version of TW.

Part #1 Trust Wallet on Android

To configure your TW wallet on Android for the Rails Network, follow these steps:

1- Open the Hamburger Menu located in the upper-right corner of your wallet interface.
2- Click on the Plus sign.
3- Navigate to the Network Tab.
4- Choose the Ethereum network.
5- Enter the following details:
Network Name: Rails Network
Symbol: STEAMX
Node URL: https://mainnet.steamexchange.io
Explorer URL: https://explore.steamexchange.io

By following these steps, you will successfully set up your wallet to connect with the Rails Network.

Part #2 Trust Wallet on iOS

If you have TW on iOS since it does not support custom RPC for now, you will have two options:

#1 Wait until TW adds our Blockchain to its preconfigured list of networks.

#2 Install MetaMask on your device.
TW on iOS do not allow the user to add Custom RPC and since they have pretty serious criteria for adding new networks, it might take a while before you can interact with our network via TW. So what can we do? Enabling MetaMask to use our TW wallets. Is it even possible?

Yes. Think of your wallet as a door to your account. Now with the same key (Seed-Phrase) we will end up in the same place (your account) even if we use different doors. Because essentially with the key that you have they lead you to the same room (your account). It’s a bit like checking your emails on your phone app or on a computer – it’s the same emails, just opened in different ways.

So, when you import your Seed-Phrase into MetaMask or TW, they both lead you to the same account without the need to transfer your tokens. You can use the Seed-Phrase you get from TW on MetaMask, and vice versa.

Now in your TW go to Settings > Wallets, and press the three-dots button for the wallet you use (By default it is Main Wallet 1). Now tap on Manual Backup. On the next screen, enter your PIN. Then read and tick all the boxes you see and press Continue. Now you will see a set of words. This is your Seed-Phrase. Do not share them with anyone, even your loved ones. Write it down and after importing it in MetaMask destroy it.

From here, follow the MetaMask instruction. You can open it by clicking/tapping on here.

P.S: You can click/tap on the variables to have them copied in your clipboard for easy access.

Note: Be careful not to expose your Seed-Phrase. Your Seed-Phrase is your Private key to your assets, and you should never share it with anyone. There are many scammers with websites like MetaMask interface, or fake apps. If you enter your Seed-Phrase in their fake apps or websites, you will lose everything you have on your wallet.
